According to a survey of over 1,200 rich media professionals by Interactive Media Strategies in Fourth Quarter of 2005, almost half (47%) use common ROI factors - increased revenue or controlled costs - as the primary factors for deploying webcasting.

That same survey shows how effective webcasting is as a corporate video communications medium. For webcast adopters, 93% of those surveyed describe webcasting as an effective communications medium, while nearly half of non-adopters find webcasting effective. Clearly then, seeing truly is believing - as those who have experiences webcasting are much more likely to view it as effective for communicating.
